Where I am from...

I was born in Auckland hospital,and raised in Manurewa with my nan. I was living there untilI was 3 yrs old, now I live with my mum and dad in Pt England. This is a poem about where I live now.


Where I am from I see my house where my brothers and sisters play on the swings.
Where I am from I see the park I pass when I come home after school.
Where I am from I see people working on their netbooks when I come into class
Where I am from I smell fast food, burgers and fish and chips
Where I am from I feel the rough bark from trees when I’m climbing on them.
Where I am from I hear seagulls on the sandy beach.
Where I am from I taste McDonalds burgers.

Bush Walk

Walking in the forest with dark spooky trees,with my friends and I. I was frightened while we walked on the path. “ Um do you know where we going?” said Sesalina, “ Yes we do” said Elizabeth. “ Do you know how to get back home in the morning?”, “Yes we do because I could follow our footsteps” said Elizabeth. We walked further so we could find us a spot to sleep on. We found our spot and we put our tent up. While we were putting our tent up we saw a bush move so we looked at it, but it was a hedgehog.


So the next morning we got up and packed our tent and looked for our foot tracks so we could go home. Then suddenly we found the footsteps but they were all thinking that we were going in circles, and then I said “We are going in circles", so they stopped, turned around and went back where we were camping. We couldn't find it so we were LOST!!!!! “OMG how are we gonna go back home?” said Sesalina. We are going to just walk and follow the path. “OK” said Elizabeth. so they all walked straight and followed the path.

It was starting to go dark. So we just sat down and pulled out our sleeping bags and tents. So we slept in the forest again. “ But we don’t have enough food” said Aliza. We will just save us some food till tomorrow.

Sesalina was the first one awake. She woke both of us up and we both got the tents and put them down. We started walking and trying to look for a way out. “ Look I can see something” said Aliza, "Its the road". "Come on we gotta look for a phone box to call the police", so we could get a ride home. so we split up  and looked for a phone box.


Then suddenly I found a phone box, but it was just me that found it. I couldn't the find rest of my friends so I just waited for them.

 

Neil Armstrong......

Armstrong was an American. Born on August 5th,1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Armstrong died on August 25th 2012 at the age of 82 at Cincinnati Ohio. Neil alden Armstrong was an american astronaut and the first person to set foot on the moon. In 1969. Armstrong was a United States navy officer served in the Korean war.

Edwin Eugene Buzz Aldrin Jr was born on January 20th 1930. Aldrin the second man to set foot on the moon. He was in the spaceship with Neil Armstrong. He was also a American astronaut too.

Cross Country Practise

This is my Animation. I hope you like it!!!!

Yahoo!!! We're doing cross country practise. We had to run to Point England Reserve, run to the fence and run back to school. I was coming first and then Lepa ran right past me so I was coming 2nd. I was really tired from running because I was running fast. When we were almost at the reserve Sesalina ran past me. I tried to speed to catch up to her, but she was too fast. Unfortunately I was slowing down. I saw Mele but she ran straight past me too. So then I was coming like 9th or 10th.
When we came back to the street I had a little rest before it was time to go home..

Life Education Trust (Smoking) Elizabeth.

Smoking can cause cancer, it can cause lung cancer which is life threatening. Tar goes on the lungs. it can even cause lung diseases and heart diseases. Cigarettes have over 4000 chemicals but they have three main ingredients, Carbon Monoxide, tar, nicotine. Nicotine is a nasty and highly addictive drug, Nicotine also causes blood pressure to rise and may cause heart attacks.4500-5000 people died in NZ from smoking.


Teenagers smoke because they want to look cool or because their friends are doing it. Sometimes they are influenced by their family. When people smoke often sometimes they get stressed or angry because the body wants more nicotine. This is because nicotine is addictive.

So my message to you is don’t start smoking.

Silver for Valerie Adams

Valerie Adams won silver in the London Olympics women's shot put, beaten by a stunning series of throws by her great rival Nadzeya.
Adam’s silver medal throw was 20.70m, while the gold medal throw was 21.36m. Adam could only manage 20.70. Adam was looking the first person to successfully to defend the women's shot put title since Tamara Press in 1964. Adams was really upset,her goal was to get gold.

I was born in Auckland, New Zealand.
My favourite colour is yellow
I am the third oldest.
My brothers and sisters are Grace,Gerico,Me,
Wakatere,Charles,Charlese and Toks.
In the weekends I go to my nans to go and see my
sister Grace cause she lives my nan.
My brother toks he is the youngest he is 3 he has Cancer,
sometimes he goes to the hospital to go for a check up to make sure
he’s allright.
