Henri Matisse & Pablo Picasso


Matisse Picasso

Matise and Picaso were both living in the same era. They are two of the world’s most famous artists. Picaso is a very unussual arist who dosn’t paint like the rest of the other famouse artis. Henry Matisse’s he makes them all seem realistic. They both have a painting that includes the same subject, . PIcaso’s painting is called, ‘The Weeping women’.
It has a lady  who looks like it’s suffering.  Henry Matisses is called The Women with a hat.




Henri Matisse was born on December 31, 1869 in Le Cateau-Cambresis In northern france. his parents owns a genaral store where they sold household goods and seeds. Henri matisse was their first son. When Henri Matisse was a young man, he traveled to paris to study law. When he was 21 yrs old his mother gave him a paint box. In 1891 Matisse traveled to paris to study art at the academie julian. His first teacher told him that he would never learn to draw. In 1954, at the age of 84, Matisse died a recognized leader in modern art. In the 1840’s Matisse began creating paper collages.


Palbo PIcaso was born in Malaga, Spain on 25 October 1887. In 1900 Picasso made his first trip to paris. It was through when he meet an french artist Henri Matisse. The two became life longing Friends. He also became a printer a painter and drawer.
