Good Bye Pt England.

Dear Pt England I just like to say a BIG thank you to all that teachers that has taught me all these years. Thinking about all my friends and teachers that has helped me to be kind and helpful. And the BIGGEST thank you to Mr Burt (principal) & Ms King. Pt England has been my first Primary & Intermediate school.

This year has been very fun. And I have a really great teacher Ms King. She is my last teacher at Pt England school. So I'm going to miss Pt England very much :'( GOOD BYE PT ENGLAND <3

India sends spacecraft to Mars.

                                          

In India they have started their first spacecraft to Mars. Their hoping that the spacecraft will reach Mars safety. They planned to send the spacecraft to travel 300 days. The rocket had lifted off on Tuesday the 5th of November and it should reach mars  in September 2014.

People are asking whether  India should be spending $130 million on a space rocket when their country is one of the highest position for childhood malnutrition in the world.  We think that India shouldn’t have paid $130 million dollars just for a space rocket when their are many children that needs to be feed.

If their plan succeeds then India will be the fourth space agency to reach Mars.  What will you choose, spend $130 million on a spacecraft or save more children from dying of hunger?.

Halloween.

Halloween.

Halloween is celebrated on the night of 31st of october. The word Halloween is a shortcut for All Hallows Eve. Other countries celebrated it too like the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia And United Kingdom.

Trick-or-treating is an Activity for us around Halloween in which they go to house to house in there costumes and people giving them candy. Halloween wasn't supposed to be about candy. It was about the people that died.

It includes bonfires, trick or treating, And visiting houses for candy. Halloween is popular in the united states and the united kingdom. Trick or treating was spreading around the western united states.

Early national attention to trick-or-treating was given in October 1947 of the children's magazines Jack and Jill and Children's Activities, and by Halloween episodes of the network radio programs The Baby Snooks Show in 1946 and The Jack Benny Show and The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet in 1948.

Lizabeth, Ana & Kimberly (cyclone in India)

In India half a million of people have been evacuated out of there houses in eastern India due to a powerful cyclone. During that cyclone there has been a powerful hit, it has washed away tens and thousands of people. Roof tops from huts has been washed away from the mud, And flooding towns and villages.

Some octopuses, some fish and a few
mermaids were happily frolicking in a rock
pool. Altogether there were 38 arms, 24 eyes
and 8 tails all swimming in the pool.

The Chicken N Chips can just seat 24

people. How many people can The

Pizza Place seat?

Now a third of the seats at The Chicken N Chips were

empty and a half of the places at The Pizza Place were

empty. If 18 more people wanted to eat out, how many

would have to be turned away from the two restaurants?

Cross country!!

“ year 8 girls you're up next!” yelled Mrs Nua. Standing at the starting line, having butterflies. “ on your mark, get set,” Shouted Mr Burt, And the siren went on to tell us to go!. Jogging around the cone. Going around the field. Feeling puffed out but I was still not giving up.

I was still running but I got tired so just started to walk fast. While I was walking, I saw Rita so I just started running with her. When I was almost to the finish line, Miss Va’afusuanga was encouraging me, So I was racing to finish line. Feeling puffed out. 1st lap done.

Going around the cone again, feeling the slippery mud with my muddy feet which was very yukk “ lucky I wasn’t running with my shoes” I said to myself.

The mud was splashing all over my my legs “YUKK!!” I said I was still running but I was feeling very tired. So I just started to walk. Once I got to Mr Barks I started to jog the rest of the run. finally I got to the finish. I reckon that Cross country was actually fun.

Last day of school\Holidays

Last day of school, I'm like already Missing my friends and Teachers. I hope that when we all come back from school we go higher in something and we all go higher in reading, writing and maths. When I came home from school, My Nan came and picked me up. So I was like YAYY!!! I hope that next term we all enjoy the new topic of the term. And hope that next term in the street we guest to do alot of fun stuff. On Saturday morning I came back from my nanas.My room was a mess so I cleaned it up, and asked my mum if she needed help with the house and she said "yes, can you please do the dishes" and I said excitedly "sure"
So I did the dishes washed and packed them away.

REFLECTION.

KIA ORA my name is Elizabeth, I have been answering these questions that Ms King gave us. These questions mean that I have been a bit good in these subjects.

This term I have done good in fitness, and a little bit in writing.

The most challenging was when I just started in fitness and starting the maths gloss test.

I really wanna challenge my self  in writing because I am not doing well in writing.

I reckon that I can change it up further in writing next year in college.

Jack and the beanstalk story board

Prospective Student.

The boy, with a lean wiry body,  climbed the tall towering mountains. Feeling scared and nervous he kept climbing to get to the top . going through all that tough things he finally made it to the top. When he got there he felt very exhausted and his muscles were aching. As he was walking towards the big door he crossed his finger’s with hope.

He knocked on the door and the sensei opened it, he took a ball to the sensei ,and sensei pointed. He thought that he was telling him to go away,  but the boy was feeling very sad and he got rejected. But really the sensei told him to use the other door.

Once upon a time there were three young wolf’s who lived on a farm with their family. One day when they were kicking back the mother said “ GET UP AND GET OUT!!! You're getting too old , and I’m getting sick of doing your room when YOU’RE supposed to do it yourself. So the three wolfs split up and went out on a journey to find out where they might  live.

The first wolf was really lazy he just wanted his house to finish quick so he could kick back inside. He made his house out of plastic bottles. It was finished within half an hour he was really happy and said “Hahaha I finished  before you all and you can’t bet that shame. So off he went to kick back in his new house. The terrifying pig came along and knocked at the door. “Who is it” the wolf said with a lazy voice. “Big wolf big wolf please let me in” the terrifying pig said. You can come in if you want. The pig enter the house and the wolf was really scared. “Oh no” the wolf said

THAG

Why THAG should not be aloud in new zealand?

THAG should not be aloud in new zealand, Because of the owner does not care about the obese people dieing. Plus he want the people to keep on eating until they get fatter, until they weigh (over 300) they will get stuff for free at THAG. There was a obese man that weighed over (500) thats a lot!!! A week later he past away at the age of 29.

When he past away there was another obese man he weighed just the same as the man that past away. So that means that owner of THAG does not care. He does not care about how he is going to die because of that fat and grease in the burgers, plus there shakes are made out of butter\fat.

So I think that THAG should not be aloud in Auckland new zealand, in glen innes.

I think that this song is about, how he grew up,and his brother's was looking after his mum .
He used to have a piggy bank, but now he's got a bigger bank. I think he said that because he has a lot of money...So he donated 100,000 dollars to us. He say's who cares about the haters say. They hate on him because they can't do what he does.
He say's they he hates to bust your bubble. he takes it higher, in his singing.

Group Stories

The ghost (Turuhira)

about this house. Everyday Emily walked past the house next door and she would always see many strange things. Because of that Emily asked her mum, who was living there. Because of that her mum told her a little story about the haunted house. Because of that Emily got really scared and never walked past the house again. Until Finally she called the Ghostbusters and they came and burned the house down. Ever since Emily has become a celebrity in her town and is training to join the ghost busters.

The Moral of the story is ask for help if you are scared of something.

Fireworks (Senolita)

Once upon a time there lived a man that loved fireworks and his name was Rob.

Every day Rob would walk outside in the dark and stare at everybody’s fireworks.

But one day there was a box that was delivered to Rob’s house. It was a box filled with fireworks from his family that lived in the south Islands. Because of that those were the  most dangerous fireworks in the world.

Also a song was released on fireworks day by Katy Perry named Fireworks. Rob was the person who had recently written this song. Rob was invited to tour with Katy on her California Dreams tour. He was living the high life, enjoying each moment. Until finally Rob became best friends with Katy Perry. Ever since, Rob and Katy finally got married together.

The moral of the story is you can do anything in your life.

The unexpected Broken ankle (Kimberly)

Once upon a time there was a girl named Emily playing on the park. Everyday Emily would walk to the playground with her friends. Emily and her friends would always swing on the monkey bars. But one day while she was swinging on the monkey bars and jumped off. On the way home Emily felt something strange in her ankle. She asked her mum “what is wrong with my ankle!”. Emily’s mother didn’t know and so they went to the doctors. Because of that the doctor said that she has an unexpected broken ankle. Ever since, her friends asked her if she wanted to play at the monkey bars she would have to refuse because her ankle needed more rest.

The moral of the story is to be careful of what you’re doing!

Spongebob & Patrick

It was a hot summer day at the goo lagoon, Spongebob and Patrick went surfing.

“Whoaaaa” spongebob yelled. as he fell off his surfing board, and into the waves.

While watching spongebob falling off, Patrick exclaimed “Ooooo”., and shook his head - he could do better than that.

Standing on his surfboard Patrick yelled “Apply the sauce” and squirted glue on his feet to stick himself solidly to his board. As Patrick was riding the waves he saw a big rock, Patrick yelled “separate separate” and hoisted the rock, he fell off,  his bones came out of his body, and his skin washed up to the shore Patrick said sadly. “ I like your sandals, Thanks we’re inseparable.”

“ i don’t want to know what you gotta do” exclaimed Marlin -__-

Dory was trying to cheer marlin up so he could go down into the hole. So dory sang a song “just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming swimming, What do we do? we  swim”. “ Dory no singing” yelled Marlin. “I love to swim what you want to swim” said Dory. “See I’m gonna get stuck now with that song now it’s in my head” Yelled Marlin. “sorry” whispered Dory.

5week reflection

This is my 5week reflection

The Car suddenly stopped

Looking outside of my window I wanted to see if mum was in the car, ready to take me to school. I hurried out of the front door, it was past 8:30 (ah oh). Opening the car door, I hopped inside. Mum was in the drivers seat and I was in the back seat. I was worried because I didn’t want to get to school late. While we were driving, the car just stopped out of nowhere. I asked mum “ did you put any gas in the car” “ YES! it’s full” shouted mum. Mum we're going to be late.

The rope

I was watching a short movie of a man that was on a mountain but the mountain was icy. It was daylight. When he was walking he saw a rope that just came out of the sky.So he walked to it but he was curious to go and pull the rope. So he went to it and pulled it and then it turned to night. So when he pulled it, he felt relieved because he might of thinking that something bad was going to happen. So he kept on pulling the rope and  it kept on going daylight and night, but when he was pulling it it broke (ah oh) I think that he might of thought that something bad is going to happen. I would pull the rope if something good is going to happen, but when its for the return it might be bad but I dont no whats going to happen, so I might or might not pull the rope.

Capture the flag.

Playing the game of capture the flag,we were versing room 19. And trying to get past the people that was trying to get me, but I got tagged. So I sat down and putted my hand but suddenly a friend came to get me yaay! I’m saved! But I keep on getting tagged. I was tired so I just sat down for a little bit and then got back up so I was trying to get the people that was in room 19 but I tagged my brother, but when I went away somebody was trying to save my brother but I tagged them. Somebody had the flag and was trying to run to the end so they could win, but I was at the end and I tagged them !yus!


After that there was a big space for me to run pass so I ran fast as I could and I made it YAAYY!!! So while I was in the circle somebody had the flag and was trying to run pass but it was blocked because there was too much people. After that I told the person that both of us should go so that when he abouts to get tagged i'll tell him to throw it to me. We did it but it didn't work, because there was too much people. Not long ago Ms king blew the whistle to finish the game.
