Volcano

What is a volcano?

The solid ground that we walk on is part of the earths crust. Below this crust lies an intensely hot layer of molten rock, known as magma. When magma explodes through an opening in the earth's crust, a volcano erupts.

How are Volcanoes are formed?

Volcanoes form when hot magma pushers its way through earth's crust. Earth's crust is made up of separate pieces, known as tectonic plates.
